Past Activities
In June 2006 IPSWG helped organize "Decolonize, Educate, Resist
- An Indigenous & Anarchist Community Gathering on Coast Salish Territories."
In April 2006 we held an information picket in support of the Six Nations people's land reclamation, as part of a national day of action in solidarity.

In March 2006 the group organized a community forum called "Stop the Destruction of Wsanec & St'at'imc Lands: Resorts & Real Estate Threaten Sacred Mountains," and was honoured to have guests joining us to speak about LÁU,WEL,NEW and Sutikalh.

In February 2006 we co-sponsored The Leech & the Earthworm documentary film with the Social Justice Film Series.
In October 2005 IPSWG worked to raise awareness about environmentally and culturally destructive coalbed methane mining plans for Tahltan territory (interior “BC”), acting in solidarity with the Tahltan Elders that have resisted such encroachment. |
