Research In Action (RIA)
The Research In Action Initiative is a community-based research (CBR) program that links University of Victoria students undertaking research projects for academic credit with community groups that have research needs. The program is a way to bridge the gap between the university and the community at large by providing students with the opportunity to gain real CBR experience and make their university work useful to others. RIA projects focus on enhancing community groups' capacity to address social, health, and environmental concerns.
RIA is not currently accepting new proposals from community groups.
